GIPOD public API

The GIPOD platform is being renewed during the period 2019-2023. Part of the renewal is a new public api, where the GIPOD information is made available to the public as open data.

Public API

The new public API is foreseen in the future, meanwhile the GIPOD data is available trough the Legacy Public API, the MobilityHindrance LDES or a WMS service.

MobilityHindrance LDES

As part of the public API MobilityHindrance is available as an LDES.

OGC services

Based the renewed GIPOD data model, new OGC services are foreseen in the future, these will include Mobilityhindrance and Public Domain Occupancies WMS, WFS and features services.

Meanwhile the GIPOD data is available trough a legacy WMS: https://geo.api.vlaanderen.be/gipodpubliek/wms

Legacy Public API

The legacy public api (https://api.gipod.vlaanderen.be/ ) will be available during a transition period. Data from the new GIPOD will automatically flow to the existing current public API.

Support

Communication to the outside world about the public API will be done through a github repository. You are also welcome to do suggestions or ask questions. If you wish you can add code examples on using this API to this repository using pull requests, or provide links.
